## How to install Endpoint Central MSP at AWS?

For those who wish to ease their server management using Amazon EC2 instance, can now install Endpoint Central MSP at your instance and manage your desktops and mobile devices with ease. ### Pre-requisites

Before installing Endpoint Central MSP at AWS, ensure that you meet the following pre-requisites:

1. Ensure that the instance meets the [system requirements](https://www.manageengine.com/desktop-management-msp/system-requirements.html) needed to install Endpoint Central MSP.
2. Ensure that the instance's Public IP/DNS is not blocked by any firewall and is accessible to all client computers.
3. Open the [ports](https://www.manageengine.com/desktop-management-msp/faq.html#6) of Endpoint Central MSP at Amazon [security groups](http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonVPC/latest/UserGuide/VPC_SecurityGroups.html) for smooth communication between the Endpoint Central MSP server and the client computers.

**Note:** The database can be hosted in AWS marketplace. Click [here](https://www.manageengine.com/desktop-management-msp/system-requirements.html#sqlserver) to know the system requirements for hosting the DB in AWS.

### Steps

After purchasing your instance from Amazon Web Service, you can install Endpoint Central MSP at your instance by referring to this [presentation](https://download.manageengine.com/desktop-management-msp/steps_to_install_dc_msp_at_aws.pdf).

You have now successfully installed the Endpoint Central MSP server. To proceed further, you have to install the Endpoint Central MSP agent on the computers you want to manage. **Note:** When you access the Endpoint Central MSP using the public IP/DNS address, note that the "Public IP/DNS address" changes when the instance is stopped or terminated. As Endpoint Central MSP works on an agent-server model, it is recommended to use an Elastic IP address for uninterrupted communication between the server and the client computers.
