Exchange account already exists


You are trying to associate an Exchange Active Sync profile to an iOS device, and  you get an error, "Exchange account already exists"


You might get this error message if the user has created an exchange account using the same email address, on the managed mobile device. You will not be allowed to overwrite the exchange that has been created by the user. 


You will have to inform the user to remove the exchange active sync accout (profile) that has been created on the device. Once the existing profile is removed by the user, you will be able to associate the same profile using ME MDM. The advantage of associating the profile via MDM is that, you will have control over the profile like managing it, or wiping the account if the device is lost etc,.
