# How to sync a running configuration to startup configuration in a device?

Follow the steps given below to copy running configuration to startup configuration for a particular device or a set of devices.

- Select one or more devices which are in conflict from the list in Inventory.
- Click on the 3 horizontal dots ![3 Horizontal dots](https://www.manageengine.com/network-configuration-manager/images/more-option.png) on the top right corner of the page to get more options.
- Click on **"Sync Configuration"**.
