ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus Extends Single Sign-On Support to 80 Cloud Applications

Provides Users Quick, Secure Access to Popular Enterprise Cloud Applications

PLEASANTON, Calif. - August 15, 2017 - ManageEngine, the real-time IT management company, today announced that ADSelfService Plus , its integrated self-service password management and single sign-on solution, has added single sign-on (SSO) support for over 80 enterprise cloud applications. With enhanced SSO support, organizations can give end users quick access to enterprise cloud applications using a single username and password. ADSelfService Plus also improves cloud security by enabling two-factor authentication for logins and controlling access through security policies.

As organizations transition from on-premises software to cloud applications, controlling who gets access to what applications becomes even more important. Moreover, as the number of applications increases, each of which having their own password requirement and expiration date, users soon suffer from password fatigue. This causes security issues, a barrage of password reset tickets and diminished employee productivity.

"In today's cloud-driven IT environment, identity management is one of the biggest challenges organizations face. Why not leverage users' Active Directory credentials to make logging in to cloud applications easier and more secure?î said Parthiban Paramasivam, product manager at ManageEngine. "We've increased SSO support in ADSelfService Plus to make identity management a lot simpler for IT admins. Admins can now give end users access to popular cloud applications while implementing stricter security policies and two-factor authentication."

Highlights

One portal for all cloud logins: Allows users to log in to ADSelfService Plus once and gain access to all their enterprise cloud applications without requiring additional logins.

Active Directory-based SSO: Leverages Active Directory and allows users to use their Windows domain credentials to access cloud applications.

Two-factor authentication for improved security: In addition to a username and password, ADSelfService Plus requires users authenticate themselves using a second factor such as Duo Security, RSA SecurID, SMS and email-based verification codes, RADIUS or Google Authenticator during login.

Security policies for access control: Uses organizational units and groups in Active Directory to build security policies so that users have access to only the applications they need.

In addition to SSO for cloud applications, ADSelfService Plus offers other proven identity management features for on-premise systems. The self-service password reset feature allows users to easily reset passwords on their own through a web portal or from the Windows login screen. The real-time password synchronizer feature synchronizes password changes in Active Directory with a wide range of on-premises and cloud applications, including Office 365.
