Microsoft Visual Studio Patch Download Failure

Description

The download of Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 patches fails because the download URL is dynamic and direct download of patches are only available to the registered customers. Therefore, you can manually download the patch and upload it directly to the patch store directly from the console using the Upload Patches option.

Steps

Follow the steps given below to resolve this issue:

1. Manually download the updates for your preferred edition (Community/ Professional/ Enterprise) of Microsoft Visual Studio 2019.
2. Click on Upload near the Download failed error message. Using the Upload option you can install this patch.
3. Otherwise, navigate to Patches -> Downloaded Patches -> Upload Patches -> Search for the Patch ID of Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 and click on Upload under Action.
4. Then select Install Patches to deploy.
