The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) is comprised of different divisions and offices that offers various services for taxes, driver licenses, and child support for citizens, businesses, and agencies. It intends to provide a convenient, effective, and courteous service to ensure voluntary compliance by its citizens.
The Arkansas DFA IT team was looking for a solution to tackle a number of challenges. The team wanted to monitor the Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS) password accesses. The team also wanted to be alerted if someone moved a computer to a new OU to make sure the proper documentation procedure is being followed while doing so.
On top of this, users were complaining of getting locked out of their accounts frequently, and the IT administrators wanted a way to track down the causes of account lockouts.

The Arkansas DFA deployed ManageEngine ADAudit Plus. The main purpose was to monitor who accessed the LAPS password. ADAudit Plus instantly notifies the help desk when an account gets locked and resolves the lockout effectively by recording the details of the authentication failure.
The IT team was also able to get alerts every time someone moved a computer to a different OU along with details on where it is being moved to and from. The team was also able to ensure the move is being documented.
