Active Directory Error Code 568 - Too many security Identifiers

Active Directory Issues » Active Directory Error Code 568 - Too many security Identifiers

Active Directory Error Code 568 - During a logon attempt, the user's security context accumulated too many security Identifiers.

Reason: This error is displayed when the user attempting to login belongs to more than 1000 Active Directory groups. During the login, the access token will be generated which has unique security identifiers (SID) for every group that the user is a member of. The array that contains the SIDs of the user’s group memberships in the access token cannot contain more than 1,024 SIDs. If there are more groups, there are more SIDs. Hence the access token will not be created and the user cannot login.
