# ManageEngine Applications Manager | Demo for creating Monitor Groups and Monitors

You can configure thresholds and alarms for the attributes and based on them actions can be executed. For eg., if CPU utilization of the server exceeds 90% -> alert an email alert.

Select the **Attribute** for which you want to configure alarms. For eg., CPU Utilization in apm-w7-lap. Next, click on **associate** link to associate the threshold for that attribute - CPU Utilization [Critical > 90%, Warning > 65%, Clear <= 65%]. **Save** the alarm configuration.
