# ManageEngine Applications Manager | Getting Started

## Settings

- The Settings tab lists all the administrative functions that can be performed with the product. Know more about the settings activities like downtime scheduler in the [help document](https://www.manageengine.com/products/applications_manager/help/performing-admin-activities.html).
- Settings activities can also be performed via the links on the top band - like creating New Monitor Group, New Monitor etc., individual Monitor details pages will have provision to configure alerts specially for those monitors.
