Windows DriverStore FileRepository disk space

C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository can grow large after driver deployments. This folder is not the Endpoint Central patch store.

Cause

C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository is managed by Windows and contains driver packages. Endpoint Central does not store patch binaries there.

Cleanup

There is no console action that cleans DriverStore\FileRepository. Remove obsolete driver packages manually if they are no longer needed.

Agent patch files are stored under C:\Program Files (x86)\ManageEngine\UEMS_Agent\patches. After a successful install, those files are removed automatically.

Prevention

No console setting was confirmed that prevents Windows DriverStore growth. Cleanup Settings apply to the server patch store, not to DriverStore\FileRepository on endpoints.
