Problem

You are trying to import certificates on your server and you get the error : "Import Certificate Failure".

Cause

This could be due to one of the following reasons:

1. The password to open certificate might be incorrect
2. The uploaded certificate is invalid

Resolution

1. Ensure that the uploaded ceritificate is valid and the password that you have used are correct. If the certificate that you have imported is not a root certificate, then you should verify if the certificate chain is valid.
2. Ensure that you have uploaded all the intermediate certificates for the certificate chain to work.
