Knowledge Base - Patch Download Failure  "Checksum Failed"

 

Problem

Checksum Validation Failed error appears when patches are downloaded from vendor sites.

Cause

  • Checksum Validation Failed - This issue might happen if the download process isn't successful or the downloaded installable is incomplete.
  • The vendor may have released a new update. Wait for the next scheduled patch database sync to resolve the issue.
  • Ensure that the configured Proxy settings has permission to download the installable files.

Resolution

  1. Add the domains present in this page to your proxy exceptions before downloading the installable file.
  2. Go to Download Failed tab, select the patches and click Download and Publish Now option.
  3. If the problem still persists, contact support.
