Problem

When Patch Connect Plus downloads patches from vendor sites, the process fails with error "Patch DB - Bug in authorization" (Error Code 407).

Cause

Error code 407 occurs when the web server is not reachable or access to the server has been denied. This might happen due to various reasons such as, forbidden access, or connectivity issues.

Resolution

1. Ensure that the configured Proxy settings has permission to download the installable files from the websites mentioned in this page.
