Periodicity of backup can be configured even on an everyday basis. Data in the backup copy is encrypted and stored as a ZIP file in the host where the Key Manager Plus server is configured. The database encryption key is not stored along with the backup file to assure maximum security.
In the rare event that disaster strikes and leads to system failure or data loss, administrators can quickly make a fresh installation of Key Manager Plus and restore the backed-up data with the help of restoration scripts provided by the application.
