JVM/JDK Versions Supported by APM Insight Java Agent

The APM Insight Java Agent is compatible with commonly used Java Virtual Machines (JVMs) and Java Development Kits (JDKs) in enterprise environments. Supported versions include:

Oracle Hotspot JDK: Versions 1.8 to 24
IBM (J9) JDK: Versions 1.8 to 24
OpenJDK: Versions 1.8 to 24
HP-UX 11i JRE: Versions 1.8 to 24

The agent ensures robust compatibility across these environments, offering monitoring capabilities for applications built on these platforms. This wide range of support from version 1.8 to 24 ensures compatibility with most commonly deployed JVMs.

Note:

In Applications Manager version 173500 and below, the CPU usage and heap memory details will not be collected.
For versions 1.8 and above, there are limitations in monitoring the CPU usage and heap memory.
