Icon Representation

Applications Manager uses a wide range of icons across its user interface to visually represent the status of monitors, alarms, actions, and various features. These icons are designed to provide quick, at-a-glance insights into system health, operational states, and available actions, helping users navigate the product more efficiently without relying solely on textual information.

Each icon conveys a specific meaning based on its shape, color, and context within the UI. For example, color-coded status icons indicate the severity of issues, while action icons enable quick configuration changes or navigation. Understanding these icons is essential for effectively monitoring infrastructure, responding to alerts, and managing resources within Applications Manager.

The following are the list of commonly used icons in Applications Manager and their significance:

Widgets

Severity & Status
	Critical Health Status	Indicates a severe issue where metrics have crossed defined thresholds and require immediate attention.
	Warning Health Status	Indicates a potential issue where one or more metrics are nearing threshold limits.
	Clear Health Status	Indicates that the monitor is functioning normally and all metrics are within defined thresholds.
	Unknown Health Status	Indicates that the monitor status cannot be determined, typically due to lack of data or connectivity issues.
	Availability is Down	The monitor is not reachable or has failed to respond.
	Availability is Up	The monitor is actively running and data is being collected successfully.
	Critical Numerical Attribute	Indicates that the health of the Numerical Attribute is in Critical state.
	Warning Numerical Attribute	Indicates that the health of the Numerical Attribute is in Warning state.
	Clear Numerical Attribute	Indicates that the health of the Numerical Attribute is in Clear state.
		Indicates that the health of the Numerical Attribute is in Unknown state.
Reports
	7-days Report	Report generated by monitoring the attribute of the Monitor for 7 days.
	30-days Report	Report generated by monitoring the attribute of the Monitor for 30 days.
	Configure Alarms	Allows you to set up or modify alert thresholds and notification settings for monitoring attributes.
	View Annotations	Displays all the annotations added to the selected alarm message.
	Alarm Actions	Provides additional actions and settings that can be performed for the selected alarm message.
	Filter Alarms	Allows you to refine and display alarms data based on the specified filtering criteria.
	Expand Message	Expands the alarm message to show the complete content.
	Unassigned alarm	Indicates that the alarm is currently not assigned to any technician.
MONITOR GROUP VIEW
	Action Enabled	Indicates that action is configured and active for the selected monitors.
	Assign Custom Fields	Allows you to add or update custom fields to the selected monitor for filtering.
	Expand Tree	Expands the hierarchical tree view of Monitor Group to display all the associated monitors.
	Collapse Tree	Closes the hierarchical tree view of Monitor Group to hide all the associated monitors.
GENERAL
	Availability Down	Indicates that the monitor is not reachable or has failed to respond.
	Availability Up	The monitor is actively running and data is being collected successfully.

	Configure Table Headers	Allows you to customize visible columns by adding/removing headers in a table view.
	Copy	Copies the selected values of a field to the clipboard.
	Copy as text	Allows you to copy the entire audit logs data as text to the clipboard.
	Download CSV	Exports the displayed data or reports in CSV format.
	Download PDF	Exports the displayed data or reports in PDF format.
	Download XLSX	Exports the displayed data or reports in Excel (XLSX) format.
	Export	Provides options to export the displayed data in various formats.

	Search	Allows yout to explore and retrieve relevant links related to the specified keywords within the product.
	Information Tooltip	Displays additional information about the displayed parameters as tooltip when hovering over the element.
	Show hidden values	Displays the value of a hidden field.
DASHBOARD
	Delete Widget	Removes the selected widget from the dashboard.
	Execute Action	Allows you to trigger the configured action manually.
	Pick up Alarm	Allows you to attend and assign the alarm to a technician.
	Publish Widget	Publishes the selected widget and makes it available for sharing or wider use.
	Reload Widget	Refreshes the selected widget to display the latest data.
	Set as clear	Marks the selected alarm status as cleared.
	Show Widget Properties	Displays the configuration details of the selected widget.
	Add Annotation	Allows you to add notes or comments to a selected parameter for reference from the widget.
	View Annotation	Displays all the annotations added to a selected parameter from the widget.
OTHERS
	Add Integration	Allows you to configure and add external integrations into Applications Manager.
	Configure - APM Insight	Opens configuration settings for APM Insight monitored data.
	Histogram view - APM Insight	Displays performance data in histogram format for analysis.
	Disable sound alarm for critical events	Disables sound alarm to get notified of the critical events in Plasma view.
	Enable sound alarm for critical events	Enables sound alarm to get notified of the critical events in Plasma view.
	Product Recommendation - header	Displays a dropdown list of other ManageEngine products, selecting which will redirect users to their respective webpages for more information.

	Screenshot - APM Insight	Allows you to capture screenshots of your APM Insight monitor display screen.
