MDM - Device Administrator Disabled

Problem

You are trying to perform any remote management activity on the managed mobile device and you get an error message "Device Administrator disabled"

Cause

You might get this error message if the device administrator setting has been disabled in the mobile device.

Resolution

You can inform the end user to enable the device administrator settings in his mobile device. If he is unaware of the process, you can educate him to the following. End user has to navigate to the following location and enable device administrator Settings > Security > Device Administrator. As soon as the device administrator is enabled in the device you will be able to perform all remote management activities in the device.
