Windows (GINA)/macOS/Linux Login Agent schedulers

Configure a scheduler that automatically searches for all the user machines in the domain and installs the ADSelfService Plus client software at a set time.

Prerequisite

HTTPS needs to be enabled in the Access URL to schedule installation of the Login Agent on remote machines. Learn how to enable HTTPS in ADSelfService Plus.

Steps for configuring schedulers

  1. Navigate to the Configuration tab → Administrative Tools → GINA/Mac/Linux (Ctrl+Alt+Del).
  2. Click GINA/Mac/Linux Schedulers.
  3. Click on the Edit icon. 
  4. Windows (GINA)/macOS/Linux Login Agent schedulers
  5. In the window that opens, select the domain, OUs, or groups for which you want to deploy the client software.
  6. Set the Schedule Time and configure the Notification Frequency as daily, weekly, monthly, or hourly. 
  7. Select the checkbox for the Notify administrators of agent installation reports field and provide the email address(es) of the admin(s) who should receive reports whenever the scheduler runs. Separate multiple email addresses with a comma.

  9. Click Save.
