Directory Self-Service

Under this tab, you are allowed to configure the following features:

  • Self-Update Layout: To let end users update their Active Directory attributes on their own through the self-service portal, you need to configure the self-update layout with the necessary attributes. ADSelfService Plus provides admins with the flexibility to set individual user self-update layouts for attributes based on the organizational policy, enabling users to easily add or update their profile information in AD.
  • Employee Search: ADSelfService Plus offers a sophisticated corporate directory search, also referred to as an employee search or people finder. This tool includes multiple filter-based search key options to expand your company directory search across different domains.
  • Mail Group Subscription: ADSelfService Plus offers a self-service group management feature that allows users to join and leave specific AD security and distribution groups independently, as long as they meet the group subscription requirements set by their IT administrators.

Manage custom attributes in ADSelfService Plus

Click on the Manage Custom Attributes button at the top-right corner of the page to add or modify custom AD attributes. These attributes can be used when configuring the Self-Update Layout, Employee Search, and SSO (as SAML assertion attributes and OAuth/OpenID Connect claim attributes).
