Grouping of Reports

 

The Reports page contains a list of various reports, generated by SQLDBManager Plus. These reports are grouped as follows:

The reports are grouped for easier report analysis and for providing more flexibility in report generation.

 

Note: The details available for each attribute of the Monitor Type are shown in descending order. For example, in Availability report of a Monitor, the Monitor with the poorest availability is displayed first.

Database Reports

This generates reports for the Database Monitor Type created using SQLDBManager Plus. The reports can be generated either for all the Monitor or for any specific Monitor. The following are the different report types that are generated for the Database monitor.

 

Report Types Details
At a Glance Report The performance of top 10 database servers can be compared in a single view. By clicking on the bars in the report, you can see all the attributes of the monitor in a single view. Further, you can drill down to see the individual attribute reports.
Availability The availability details that include total down time in hours and minutes, average time taken to repair the failure (MTTR), average time between the failures (MTBF), and average Uptime percentage for all the Database Monitors being monitored by the SQLDBManager Plus.
Health The health of all the monitors in the SQLDBManager Plus server.
Response Time The minimum, maximum, and average time taken to connect to the database server by the SQLDBManager Plus server, in milliseconds.
Connections Lists the Top 10/20/50/All MS SQL servers of the number of minimum, maximum and average Active Connections, Logins per Minute and Logouts per Minute.
Locks Lists the Top 10/20/50/All MS SQL servers Lock Requests per Minute, Lock Waits per Minute, Lock Timeouts per Minute, Average Lock Wait Time and Table Lock Escalation per Minute.
Performance Stats Lists the Top 10/20/50/All MS SQL servers the Probe Scans per Minute, Full Scans per Minute, Range Scan per Minute, etc.
Database Stats Lists the Top 10/20/50/All MS SQL servers Database File Size (MB), Log Cache Hit Ratio, etc for all monitors and let you compare these attributes with other monitors.
SQL Memory Generates reports on SQL Cache Memory, Buffer Cache Hit Ratio, Plan Cache Hit Ratio, Page Lookups per Minute, etc.
Trend Analysis SQLDBManager Plus lets you generates Downtime history of all monitors, and Summary Report of Monitor. It also lets you generate Physical Memory Utilization (%), Swap Memory Utilization (%) of a particular choosen monitor.
Servers Generates At a Glance Report, Availability Reports, Health Reports, Response Time, CPU Utilization, Disk Utilization, Memory Utilization, Disk and NetInterface for all monitors.
