Editing and Deleting SQL Group

To edit a SQL Group:

  1. Click the Dashboard tab to display the list of SQL Groups created.


  2. Click the SQL Group to be edited.


  3. On the Left-side SQL Group Links, click Edit.

By editing the SQL Group, you can change the Name, Description, Owners and the Country (location) associated.

To delete a SQL Group:

  1. Click the Dashboard tab to display the list of SQL Groups created.


  2. Click the SQL Group to be deleted.


  3. On the Left-side SQL Group Links, click Delete.

Note: In simple layout, the left side links will not be persent. In this case, move to SQL Servers tab, from Select View drop down box, select SQL Group view. Select the SQL Groups you want to delete, then select the Delete action from the dropdown.


Note: However, the SQL DB monitor pertaining to the corresponding SQL Group will not be deleted. You will still be able to view the details of the SQL DB monitor that was associated with the SQL Group. To delete the SQL DB monitor, refer to the Deleting Monitor from SQLDBManager Plus section
