Execute Command – All that you do with the command promptNo second thought that CLI commands are a big boon to identify the various desktop/server issues and solve them in no time. Free tools like VNC, pcAnywhere etc. are available to establish a remote connection to the machine and execute CLI commands. However, in a productive environment, there’s not going to be only a singe desktop or a server. In such cases you need an automated tool to execute such CLI commands over hundreds of devices. MSP Center Plus, makes this very easy with its Execute Command configuration, which helps you execute multiple CLI commands across hundreds of remote machines at a single shot and view the output within minutes, thereby improving your productivity. Another big advantage with this confiuration is that everything is done via internet and no need to open any port. For example, in Windows Vista and 2008 machines, interactive services pop-ups keep annoying the users. To disable the interactive services on these machines, just enter the command (sc config UI0Detect start = disabled) in the Execute Command Configuration and deploy the configuration across the required machines. Once the commands are executed, MSP Center Plus displays the output machine by machine whether the service has been disabled or not. For your convenience we have created a template called Disable Interactive Services Detection for this particular action and is available out–of–the–box.
Note: While executing the commands if you find some errors thrown at you, then check the error code in Microsoft's library (below given url) to understand it better. |
