Excerpts from the cast
Were you an MSP right from the beginning?
No, we are a systems integration company. We moved into managed services a year back.
Is managed services overhyped? Or do you think it is real opportunity?
It is definitely not over hyped. Theres real opportunity there, if you choose the right service model and the right set of tools. Not only the small and medium business see value on managed services, even the larger companies are getting a feel of it. It will be just a matter of time before managed services finds a place in every enterprise - be it small or big.

Have you tried other competing software on the market?
Yes, we spent nearly $100,000 on a competing software last year. But the product was very slow. When you wanted to attach it to a server, you had to go and install an agent in every machine. It took us two weeks to get 50 workstations working on the system. We moved away from the vendor after several months of wasted efforts.
Whats your opinion about MSP Center Plus?
I downloaded the trial version of MSP Center Plus (MSP Edition) one weekend, and within that weekend, I had ten customers. And I was seeing results in less than an hour. MSP Center Plus costs $10,000 and i wish i had chosen MSP Center Plus first. Now with the newest version of your MSP software, with the integrated ticketing, the security, patch management and the vulnerability scanner, its a really great opportunity for us to have it in one place without having to go to two different windows to see what's going on.
Whats your message to budding MSPs?
Again as i said earlier, choose the right software, define your service model well, have the right attitude and thats it. You can win.
