Auto Update

The Auto Update menu allows you to schedule automatic updates for AD360 and its integrated components from a central location so that you get the latest features, enhancements, and bug fixes as soon as they're released. You can also configure notifications to get alerted when an update is released so that you can manually choose to install it based on your convenience and business requirements.

To configure Auto Update

  1. Click the Admin tab, and navigate to AdministrationAuto Update.
  2. To enable auto update for a particular component, click on the disable icon located in the action column of that component.
  3. To disable auto update for a particular component, click on the enable icon located in the action column of that component.
  4. To edit the update scheduler for a particular component, click on the enable icon located in the action column of that component.
  5. In the Check for Update option, select whether you want to check for updates daily, weekly, or monthly.
  6. Check the box that requests your consent to automatically download and update AD360 or any of its integrated components.
  7. You can also choose to receive notifications about available updates by selecting the options under Notify me.
    • When updates are available: Notifications will be sent when updates are available.
    • After installing the update: Notifications will be sent after the updates are downloaded and installed.
  8. Click Save.

Update settings in the Support tab

Aside from the Admin tab, you can configure automatic updates through the Support tab as well. Here's how to do it:

  1. Once you've navigated to the Support tab, click on the icon at the top-right corner of the page.
  2. In the pop-up that appears, you can check if there is any available update for AD360. Click Download Now for an instant update.
  3. To check and download the updates for integrated components individually, click on the Check updates for integrated components link at the bottom-right corner of the pop-up.
  4. If you want to schedule a later update for AD360, click on the Settings link at the top-right corner of the pop-up and:
    • Check the box next to Enable Auto Update.
    • In the Check for Update option, select whether you want to check for updates daily, weekly or monthly.
    • Check the box next to Automatically download and update AD360.
    • Follow step 7 from the previous section to configure notifications.
    • Click Save.
    • Lastly, you can use the Update History link to view all the installed updates.
