Who is a user? ▾

A user can connect to data, create reports/dashboards and share them to others, based on the assigned roles and permissions. A user is identified by their unique email address with which their Analytics Plus account was created/registered.

Who is a viewer? ▾

A viewer is a named user with a unique login who can securely access and explore the reports and dashboards shared with them. Viewers can interact with the shared data but cannot create, edit, or share any content. This ensures controlled and secure data access.

What are email schedules? ▾

Email schedules allow users to email reports and dashboards periodically to distribution lists or their colleagues who don't have a login account in Analytics Plus. Following are the recipient limits for each email schedule:

Each email schedule can include a maximum of 100 recipient email addresses when no share filter criteria or user filter criteria are included in the schedule.
When a share filter criteria is included in an email schedule, a maximum of 25 recipient email addresses can be included.
When a user filter criteria is included in an email schedule, a maximum of 5 recipient email addresses can be included.

What are data alerts? ▾

Users can create threshold- and anomaly-based data alerts to notify themselves or other users of changes in key metrics. Data alerts are sent via in-app and email notifications. A maximum of 25 email recipients can be included in each data alert.

What is the publish view add-on, and how is it different from the viewer license component? ▾

The publish view add-on allows users to publish reports and dashboards without a secure login. However, with the viewer license component, shared views can be accessed through a secure login, providing finer control and security over your organization's data.

What is a workspace? ▾

A workspace is a collection of data tables, reports and dashboards. The workspace also contains structural information on how the tables are related to each other.

How is the number of rows counted? ▾

The number of rows (records) is the sum of records stored across workspaces in your Analytics Plus application. For example, if you have 2 workspaces with 3 tables, and each table contains 100,000 rows then the total number of rows (records) stored is 600,000.

What is a data source? ▾

A data source is any location from where you wish to pull data and use it for analysis. This includes files, feeds, local and cloud databases, cloud drives, as well as app integrations such as ServiceDesk Plus, ServiceDesk Plus MSP, SupportCenter Plus, Endpoint Central, Jira Software, ServiceNow, Mobile Device Manager Plus, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics CRM etc.

Is my data safe? ▾

ManageEngine takes the security of your data and information very seriously. We have taken many different steps to help ensure the safety of your data. This includes physical security practices (like 7x24x365 security, video monitoring, biometric access, bullet-resistant walls), Network Security (encryption, intrusion detection/prevention), People Processes and Redundancy/Business Continuity. What happens to my data after the free trial? ▾

At the end of your 15-day trial, if you choose not to purchase a subscription, your data will be retained for 45 days during which you can purchase a subscription and maintain access to the data collected during your trial period. After 45 days, your data will be permanently removed from our data centers.
If you discontinue Analytics Plus during the 15-day trial, your data will be moved to the trash, where it will be retained for 45 days before it's permanently deleted.

What are AutoML and Code Studio credits, and how are they calculated? ▾

Users require credits to run ML models in Analytics Plus. These are based on the processing power chosen to run the model. For instance, a 1GB configuration consumes one credit per minute, while a 4GB configuration consumes four credits per minute.
Note:

Enterprise customers will receive 500 complimentary credits for AutoML and Code Studio. Additional credits should be purchased for further use.
AutoML and Code Studio are available to our customers using US, EU and India data centers. It will be available in our other data centers soon.

A concurrent guest can view published reports and dashboards without logging onto the application. Each concurrent guest license is equivalent to 1 concurrent guest session that can be established to view published reports or dashboards. The base pack starts at 5 concurrent guests. How is the viewer license different from the concurrent guest license? ▾

Concurrent guest licenses enable publishing reports or dashboards to a wider audience group without having them logon to the application. For example, publishing dashboards to the intranet portal for company-wide consumption.
Viewer licenses enable sharing reports or dashboards to select individuals through a secure login. User-level filters can be applied while sharing reports or dashboards to restrict data access based on the user. For instance, regional managers can see stats only for their region, and department managers can view stats pertaining to their department.

How do I calculate licenses for Analytics Plus? ▾

The licensing model in Analytics Plus is based on :

1.Users: Those who need to create reports and dashboards. The base pack starts at 2 users.

2.Viewers: Those who need to only view reports and dashboards by logging onto the application. The base pack starts at 5 viewers. This is an optional component.

3.Concurrent guests: Those who wish only to view published dashboards and reports without logging onto the application. The base pack starts at 5 concurrent guests. This is an optional component.

The final price is calculated based on the total number of users, viewers, and concurrent guests. For instance, if you need a quote for 2 users, 5 viewers, and 5 concurrent guests, it would cost you ($2395+$600+$495) for the professional edition (annual subscription).

Is it mandatory to purchase concurrent guest licenses while buying an Analytics Plus license? ▾

No. This is an optional component.

Do I need a user license just to view published reports and dashboards? ▾

No, you don't need a regular user license for this purpose. We have a separate license category for users who only wish to view published reports and dashboards. Using the concurrent guest license, you will be able to access the reports, without having to logon to Analytics Plus.

How is the concurrent guest license calculated? ▾

The number of 'concurrent guests' is based only on the total number of concurrent guests accessing the published reports or dashboards.

For instance, if you have 10 concurrent guest licenses, a total of 10 guests can view your published reports and dashboards, at the same time. Additional guests will have to wait for one of the first 10 guests to close their browser tab/window in order to view published reports. Once a concurrent session is closed, it may take up to two minutes before the session can be re-used by a different guest.

How does the perpetual model work? ▾

Perpetual pricing model involves a one-time fixed payment, and an Annual Maintenance and Support (AMS) cost that covers upgrades and support. The AMS is mandatory for the first year alone and is optional from the second year onwards.
