This page explains how to download the Windows 11 22H2 dependency ISO file, upload it to the patch store, and deploy the September 2022 feature update using Patch Manager Plus — covering all edition and upgrade-path combinations and language-specific ISO file names.

Note
  • Deployment of the Windows 11 22H2 feature pack is supported only in Patch Manager Plus build versions 10.0.147 and above.
  • The SSP (Self-Service Portal) method is not applicable for performing a feature pack upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 via Patch Management.

Overview

Released in September 2022, Windows 11 22H2 is a feature update for Windows 11. For a full list of what's new, refer to the official Microsoft Windows 11 release information page. To install this feature update, the device must be running Windows 10 version 2004 or a later version. For a complete list of system requirements, refer to the Windows 11 specifications page.

Prerequisites

Complete the following checks before beginning the deployment.

  1. Run the Compatibility Check available at the end of the Microsoft Windows 11 specifications page to confirm all target systems meet the minimum requirements that affect upgradeability.
  2. Enable the Feature Pack option in Patch Database Settings:
    • In Endpoint Central: navigate to Patch Mgmt → Settings → Patch Database Settings, click the Windows tab, and enable the Feature Pack option.
    • In Patch Manager Plus: navigate to Admin → Settings → Patch Database Settings, click the Windows tab, and enable the Feature Pack option.
  3. Confirm that feature pack updates have not been declined under Decline Patches.
