Steps to configure SAML SSO for Productboard
About Productboard
Productboard is a cloud-based product management platform designed to help product teams understand customer needs, prioritize what to build next, and align stakeholders around a clear roadmap.
The following steps will help you enable SSO for Productboard from Identity360.
Prerequisites
- The MFA and SSO license for Identity360 is required to enable SSO for enterprise applications.
- Log in to Identity360 as an Admin, Super Admin, or Technician with a role that has Application Integration and Single Sign-on permissions.
- Navigate to Applications > Application Integration > Create New Application, and select Productboard from the applications displayed.
Note: You can also find Productboard from the search bar located at the top.
- Under the General Settings tab, enter the Application Name and Description.
- Under the Choose Capabilities tab, select the Single Sign-on check box and click Continue.

- Under Integration Settings, navigate to the Single Sign On tab, enter the Sub Domain of your Productboard account. For example, if https://brigerdoteck.productboard.com is your account URL, then brigerdoteck is the Sub Domain.
- Enter the Relay State parameter, if necessary.
Note: Relay State is an optional parameter used with a SAML message to remember where you were or to direct you to a specific page after logging in.
- Click IdP Details. Copy the Login URL, Entity ID, Logout URL, Signing Certificate, and SHA1 values, which will be used later during the configuration in Productboard.
- Click Save.

Productboard (service provider) configuration steps
- Log in to Productboard as an administrator.
- Go to Settings under the Profile menu. Enable Enforce SAML SSO.
- You can either configure SSO manually or auto-load from the metadata URL.
- To auto-load the metadata, click FROM METADATA.
- In the Manifest URL field, paste the Metadata URL as instructed in these steps.
- In the Name field, enter Identity360.
- Optionally, in the Audience / Entity ID field, paste the Entity ID copied in step 8 of the prerequisites.
- For manual configuration, click MANUAL CONFIGURATION.
- Click Save & authorize.

Your users will now be able to sign in to Productboard through the Identity360 portal.
Note: For Productboard, both SP- and IdP-initiated flows are supported.
Steps to enable MFA for Productboard
Setting up MFA for Productboard using Identity360 involves the following steps:
- Set up one or more authenticators for identity verification when users attempt to log in to Productboard. Identity360 supports various authenticators, including Google Authenticator, Zoho OneAuth, and email-based verification codes. Click here for steps to set up the different authenticators.
