Steps to configure SAML SSO Salesloft

About Salesloft

Salesloft is a modern sales engagement platform that helps revenue teams streamline outreach, automate workflows, and track buyer interactions in one place. It’s widely used by sales teams to improve pipeline efficiency and close deals faster.

The following steps will help you enable SSO for Salesloft from Identity360.

Prerequisites

1. The MFA and SSO license for Identity360 is required to enable SSO for enterprise applications.
2. Log in to Identity360 as an Admin, Super Admin, or Technician with a role that has Application Integration and Single Sign-on permissions.
3. Navigate to Applications > Application Integration > Create New Application, and select Salesloft from the applications displayed.
   Note: You can also find Salesloft from the search bar located at the top.
4. Under the General Settings tab, enter the Application Name and Description.
5. Under the Choose Capabilities, check the Single Sign-on and click Continue.

6. On the Integration Settings tab, navigate to Single Sign On and click IdP Details. Download the Metadata value, which will be used later during the configuration in Salesloft.

Salesloft (service provider) configuration steps

1. Log in to Salesloft, the service provider (SP), as an administrator.
2. Navigate to Settings.
3. Scroll down the left menu panel and select Single sign-on under Administration. Click Edit.
4. From the drop-down, select SAML, then click the check mark to confirm your selection.
   Note: Once SAML is chosen as your SSO protocol, the SSO configuration tiles will appear. This is where you will configure your SAML SSO.
5. In Step 1, click the Upload file button to upload the metadata file downloaded in step 6 of the prerequisites.
6. In Step 2, click the Test login button. You will be directed to the Test Login page. If SAML is configured correctly, you will see Test Successful. If you see Test Unsuccessful, review your setup. If the issue persists, refer to the SSO troubleshooting guide for common solutions. After making any corrections, try logging in again.
7. Once you've successfully tested your login, click Enable SSO.

Identity360 (identity provider) configuration steps

1. Switch to the application configuration page in Identity360, the identity provider (IdP).
2. Enter the Relay State parameter, if necessary.
   Note: The Relay State is an optional parameter used with a SAML message to remember where you were or to direct you to a specific page after logging in.
3. Click Save.

Your users will now be able to sign in to Salesloft through the Identity360 portal.
