Adding New Windows Service Monitors

In addition to the Windows services monitor supported by OpManager Plus out-of-the-box, you can add monitors for other windows services too.

To add a new Windows service monitor, follow the steps given below:

1. Go to Settings > Monitoring > Configuration > Monitors > Windows Services.
2. Click Add New> Select the device from the drop-down.
3. Type the domain administrator user name and password for the device in the respective fields and click Next.
4. A list of all the Windows Services available on that machine is displayed. From this select the services that you want be monitored on the device.
5. Configure the consecutive time for alert.
6. Based on whether or not you want to restart the service or the machine when the service goes down, select the corresponding option.
7. Click Save.
