Devices are categorized into the following default maps in OpManager Plus: The classification is done using SNMP and NMAP.
The discovered devices are classified into the above categories based on response to SNMP requests sent by OpManager Plus to the devices. The devices that are not SNMP enabled, and the device types which are not included in the template are incorrectly classified under desktops. You can also add your own infrastructure maps to group your devices according to categories, or create business views to logically group devices, for instance, based on geography.
