Monitoring Syslog Packets

Syslog viewer allows you to ensure whether OpManager Plus receives the syslog packets sent by the devices. Here are the steps to view the list of the devices that send the syslog packets:

1. From Admin tab, click Syslog Rules.
2. Click on the Actions dropdown menu and select Syslog Viewer.

The syslog packets sent by the devices to OpManager Plus are listed. You can also filter the syslog packets by device and port.

Filtering Syslog packets

1. Enter the device's IP address in the Source IP field.
2. Enter the port number via which OpManager Plus receives the syslog packets.
