Modifying the Extension

You may make changes to your extensions for reasons like providing additional functionalities, bug fixes, etc. If you have published the extension to the marketplace, you need to make the changes available for the customers, so that they can update their extension.

To update an extension,

• Go to the Extensions Builder.
• Open your preferred extension.
• Make the necessary changes by editing your preferred components.
• Click Publish Privately on the top-right. For more details on publishing extensions privately, click here.
• Go to Sigma, locate the extension, hover over the extension, and click Extension Details .
• Go to the Versions tab and click Submit to Marketplace on the status column against the latest version.

The new version will be published and tracked under the Version History on the rightside panel along with the older versions of the extension. Click a version to view all its components.

Note:

• When a new extension version is released, older versions will be automatically deprecated, i.e., their installation links will become invalid. However, users can continue to use the already installed old versions without any issues.
