You can create shared mailboxes individually by logging in as a global admin or Exchange admin in Microsoft 365 admin center. Alternatively, you can also create shared mailboxes in bulk using M365 Manager Plus as given in this document. The next step is to configure the created shared mailboxes and set the policies and settings as required. In Microsoft 365 admin center, you have to repeat this processby navigating to all the shared mailboxes created one by one, and editing each tab separately. But using M365 Manager Plus’ simple and effective management hacks you can perform all configurations for individual or bulk mailboxes easily.

  1. Click on the Management tab.
  2. Navigate to Exchange Online > Shared Mailbox Management > Shared Mailbox Configuration.

  4. Select the corresponding Microsoft 365 Tenant.
  5. Now enter all the required inputs and settings.
  6. A. You can either choose the Enter name(s) to search option and enter single or various shared mailboxes (separated by commas) (or)
  7. B. You can choose the CSV Import option and select the file containing details about all the shared mailboxes.
  8. Click on Find, select all the required mailboxes and choose Apply for all the changes to reflect.
