You can use mobile device policies to set common rules for a set of users on how to access and use Exchange. By default, a mobile device mailbox policy is created in Microsoft 365 organization which is generally applied for all the synced devices but you can also configure and set your own policies as and when required using Exchange admin center or Exchange Online PowerShell.
