Service outages can disrupt business processes such as scheduled calls with customers and online meetings, or even bring these processes to a halt. Hence, it's crucial to monitor the health of Microsoft Teams to ensure business continuity. Microsoft does provide notices about service outages but they are only available in the Microsoft 365 Service Health Dashboard (SHD).

Monitor Microsoft Teams service health using M365 Manager Plus

M365 Manager Plus is designed to resolve all Microsoft 365-related issues. It monitors the health of Microsoft 365 services 24x7 and sends out email notifications immediately when a decline in service is detected. With this real-time service outage alerts, you can plan for alternative ways to continue your business processes without any hiccups. Each service has its own set of features and endpoints. The service health dashboard of M365 Manager Plus provides granular details such as the number of incidents in features and endpoints of a service, number of users who will be affected by a particular incident, current status of the incident, start and end time of the incident, and more. The reports help you gain access to historical data and the results can be exported to CSV, XLSX, PDF, and HTML formats.

To monitor Teams using M365 Manager Plus:

• Navigate to the Monitoring tab
• Go to Others > Features or Endpoints in the left pane.
• Select Microsoft Teams as the required Microsoft 365 service.
• Enter the Business Hours and Period of search to generate the report.
