It is a primary API to get the details of devices that are managed in NCM.

This API provides a way to manually update key attributes for multiple network devices, similar to the updateDevSummary API. With updateDevSysInfo, you can modify details such as Series, Model, OS Type, OS Version, System Description, System Location, System Contact, custom column values, End of Sale Date, and End of Support Date.

Key differences from updateDevSummary API:

- Enables bulk updates, allowing the same values to be applied to multiple devices at once.

- Devices are identified by their IP addresses instead of RESOURCEIDs.

- Only the required fields can be updated; not all parameters are mandatory.

This API is designed to fetch essential information about configurations that have been backed up on a device. For each configuration, the API provides details such as the configuration version ID, annotation (description of the backup event), timestamp of when the backup occurred, whether the version is a baseline, version number, and the user who made the change.

The API filters results based on the specified configuration file type - such as Draft, Startup, Running, VLAN, or Interface using the FileType parameter. This helps users focus on a particular category of configurations and provides relevant inputs for comparing two configurations and obtaining differences using the getConflictDiffdetails API.

Handle RMM Shortfall

API EndPoint : handleRMMShortfall

This API is used only when NCM is used as addon in RMM Central. It is used to mark a device deleted, managed or unmanaged. In RMM we do not delete the devices in NCM directly as it doesn't sit well with RMM framework. So we mark them as deleted and then the framework takes care of the actual deletion.

Delete Device

API EndPoint : deleteDevice

This API deletes the specified devices from NCM, removing all associated information such as configurations, drafts, credentials, hardware details, and more. Additionally, devices are deleted one by one in the backend, as removing large amounts of data such as configurations may take some time.
