When Microsoft released Windows 10, many organizations started upgrading to the new version. For administrators, though, Windows 10 brought back conventional and perennial computer account management troubles, such as performing multiple steps to create a computer account with all the required settings and creating or modifying computer accounts one at a time rather than in bulk. Microsoft tools offer little help to overcome these issues. With Windows 10 support, ADManager Plus allows administrators to manage all Windows 10 computer accounts in their AD quickly and efficiently.

"Many of our customers have been asking for Windows 10 support so that they could easily manage those computer accounts," said Manikandan Thangaraj, director of product management, ManageEngine. "ADManager Plus is designed specifically to eliminate the complexities in AD computer management. And now, it eliminates those complexities for Windows 10 to spare admins the hassle of using cumbersome Microsoft tools or PowerShell to manage those accounts."

Accelerate and Automate Management of Windows 10 Accounts

ADManager Plus offers features specifically designed and developed to simplify AD computer account management. With Windows 10 support, ADManager Plus lets administrators:

  • Create, enable or disable, move, modify, reset, delete or restore Windows 10 computer accounts in bulk, with just a few clicks.
  • Create and manage Windows 10 computer accounts, individually or in bulk, using CSV files and configurable templates.
  • Automate management (enable, disable, move and delete) of Windows 10 computer accounts.
  • Fetch detailed information about computer accounts using built-in reports (e.g., inactive computers, disabled computers, recently created or modified computers).

ADManager Plus also offers out-of-the-box reports to help administrators make informed decisions while managing computer accounts. For instance, using its OS-based report, administrators can easily inventory the computers based on OS versions and choose the ones that they want to upgrade. Furthermore, administrators can use the inactive computers report to identify the Windows 10 computers that are not being used and free up their licenses for use where they are needed.
