Zoho Corporation Opens an Office in Malaysia, Strengthening Its Commitment to Local Customers

Its Efforts Align With Malaysia's Digital Economy Ambition to Be the Regional Centre of Excellence

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — January 27, 2026Zoho Corporation, a global technology company offering a suite of enterprise IT management and business applications, today announced the opening of its new office in Malaysia. Located in the heart of Subang Jaya, Selangor, the new office will house teams from Zoho and ManageEngine, two of the major divisions within the company. This marks a significant milestone in the company's long-term commitment to regional customers and championing Malaysia's digital transformation ambitions.

Malaysia’s growing AI ecosystem is demonstrated by the MYR 1 billion in revenue generated by 140 AI solution providers onboarded by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation into the Malaysia Digital AI ecosystem. This growth is expected to continue in line with national digital transformation priorities, supported by initiatives such as MyDIGITAL and the National E-Commerce Strategic Roadmap.

Businesses are increasingly turning to SaaS for scalable, cost-effective solutions, with demand rising across FinTech, e-commerce, healthcare, education, logistics, and manufacturing. AI, automation, cybersecurity, and compliance-focused SaaS platforms are also gaining momentum. Zoho and ManageEngine remain committed to supporting Malaysia’s digital economy ambitions through secure, accessible, scalable enterprise technology.

"As Malaysia enters a more critical phase of digital maturity, businesses are putting more emphasis on technologies that are not only powerful but also secure and easier to adopt," said Gibu Mathew, vice president and general manager for APAC at Zoho Corporation. "Our aim is to be present among the local SMEs, enterprises, partners, and government agencies and effectively support them in embracing AI, cloud technologies, and modern workplace solutions."

In 2025, Zoho strengthened its investment in Malaysia through a strategic partnership with Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd to roll out the Zoho for Startups programme via the MYStartup Single Window platform. Through this initiative, Zoho will provide over MYR 30 million in software to support 3,000 startups, enabling access to an integrated, scalable suite of business solutions. This commitment was underscored at Zoholics Malaysia 2025, where Zoho demonstrated AI-powered enhancements across its software suite, highlighting the ease of use and practical benefits of an integrated, scalable platform for Malaysian business users.

AI adoption among businesses has been rising, but so has the number of cyber incidents, causing huge amounts of losses, with more than MYR 1.22 billion lost in Malaysia alone from January to October 2024. "ManageEngine’s mission, as part of Zoho Corporation, is to make digital transformation simpler for our customers by helping them build and operate robust, resilient, and secure digital infrastructure. Expanding our local presence is central to that mission, allowing us to work more closely with customers and partners in addressing complex, enterprise IT needs. The opening of our Kuala Lumpur office reinforces our long-term commitment to Malaysia and the broader ASEAN region, and our focus on supporting customers here more closely," said Rajesh Ganesan, CEO of ManageEngine.

The recently inaugurated Malaysia office will also serve as a hub for skills development, workshops, training programmes, and community events to help customers and partners build stronger digital and cybersecurity competencies. ManageEngine has maintained a strong, growing presence in Malaysia for over a decade. This is demonstrated by activities like the ManageEngine UserConf Southeast Asia 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, which supported several local SMEs, enterprises, and government-linked organisations by guiding them with on-premises and cloud-based solutions. The latest office addition represents the next chapter in the company's continued commitment to sustainable, affordable, secure digital growth in Malaysia and the region as a whole.
