AWS Cloud Patching

Thank you for deploying Patch Manager Plus from an AWS instance.

To get started,

1. Take a remote connection to your AWS instance.
2. Start the Patch Manager Plus Server by double-clicking the Patch Manager Plus shortcut from the desktop.
3. After starting, you can access the Patch Manager Plus web console using the public DNS address: http://<public DNS address/public IP>:6020

Please note that the "Public DNS Address" changes when the instance is stopped or terminated. As Patch Manager Plus works on a agent-server model, it is recommended to use an Elastic IP Address to ensure uninteruppted agent-server comminucation. For more details on Elastic IP Address, refer to here.

After logging into web console, you can perform all patch management functions such as :

• Automating patch deployment for Windows, Mac and Linux computers.
• 1100+ Third party applications patching
• Test and approve patches
• Customize deployment policies to meet your business needs.
• Deny patches for specific groups and departments
• Audit patch deployment & compliance efficiently.
• Run insightful patch management reports.
