Windows 10 Version 21H1 Feature Pack Deployment

1. Before deployment, run through the Compatibility Check available under the Important Notes section to find if you meet all the minimum requirements that impact upgradeability.
2. Ensure that feature pack option is enabled under Patch database settings.
   In Patch Manager Plus : Patch Mgmt → Settings → Patch Database Settings → click on the Windows tab and enable the Feature Pack option.
   In Patch Manager Plus: Admin → Settings → Patch Database Settings → click on the Windows tab and enable the Feature Pack option .
3. Ensure that you have not declined the feature pack updates under decline patches section.

Follow the steps below to download the ISO image:

1. Download Windows 10 21H1 ISO file from Volume Licensing Service Center .
2. If you're using PMP Build Version 10.0.282 and above :
   • You'll be able to find an option to upload near the Download failed error message. Using Upload you can install this patch.
   • Else navigate to Patches → Downloaded Patches and then search for the required patches. Once done, upload the patches via Upload Patches and click on Install Patch .
3. If you're using DC Build Version 10.0.319 and above :
   • You'll be able to find an option to upload near the Download failed error message. Using Upload you can install this patch.
   • Else navigate to Patch Mgmt → Patches → Downloaded Patches and then search for the required patches. Once done, upload the patches via Upload Patches and click on Install Patch .

If you're using PMP Build Version below 10.0.282 and DC Build Version below 10.0.319 :

1. Download Windows 10 21H1 ISO file from Volume Licensing Service Center .
2. Navigate to the patch store: To find patch store location in Patch Manager Plus , navigate to Patch Management → Downloaded Patches → Settings → Patch Repository Location
3. To find the patch store in Patch Manager Plus, navigate to Patches → Downloaded Patches → Settings → Patch Repository Location
4. To find the patch store in Patch Manager Plus , navigate to Patches → Downloaded Patches → Settings → Patch Repository Location
5. Copy the downloaded ISO file manually into the patch store directory, and rename the ISO file as given below:

Language-English:

• 32 Bit: 108787-Win10_21H1_en_enterprisex32.iso
• 64 Bit: 108783-Win10_21H1_en_enterprisex64.iso

1. In the server web console, navigate to Missing Patches view.
2. Choose the Windows 10 21H1 feature pack patches you wish to deploy.

• 108784 - Windows 10 21H1 Enterprise Edition - 64 Bit
• 108786 - Other Windows 10 21H1 Editions - 32 Bit
• 108782 - Other Windows 10 21H1 Editions - 64 Bit

1. To create an APD task for deploying feature packs, make sure to select the feature pack check box while defining the patch task .
2. Once the dependency patch is downloaded and stored in the Patch Store, "Feature Packs" will be successfully deployed to the target computers during the subsequent deployment window. A separate configuration can be created for the particular patch on demand.
