How to use Remove-AzResourceLock

Description:

This PowerShell cmdlet is used to delete a resource lock in Azure Active Directory. A resource lock is used to prevent unauthorized modifications to resources such as groups, subscriptions and so on. There are two lock levels—ReadOnly and CanNotDelete.

PowerShell Syntax:

Remove-AzResourceLock [-Force] -LockId <String> [-ApiVersion <String>] [-Pre] [-DefaultProfile <IAzureContextContainer>] [-WhatIf] [-Confirm] [<CommonParameters>]

Example:

This cmdlet can be used to remove a lock using the name of the lock as well as the name of the resource.

Remove-AzResourceLock -LockName "TestLock" -ResourceName "subscriptions/{subscription-id}/resourceGroups/res9407/providers /Microsoft.Storage/storageAccounts/sto8596?api-version=2019-06-01"
