How to use Remove-AzRoleAssgnment

Description:

This PowerShell cmdlet is used to remove a role assignment on Azure Active Directory. Azure has built-in roles such as users, groups, service principals and so on. Azure also allows for the creation of custom roles. Each new entity added to Azure has a role assigned to it. This cmdlet is used to remove the role assignment on a specific principal or entity.

PowerShell Syntax:

Remove-AzRoleAssignment -ObjectId <String> [-Scope <String>] -RoleDefinitionName <String> [-PassThru] [-DefaultProfile <IAzureContextContainer>] [-WhatIf] [-Confirm] [<CommonParameters>]

Example:

This cmdlet can be used to remove a role assignment by specifying the principal and its role:

Remove-AzRoleAssignment -ResourceGroupName TestGroup1 -SignInName john.doe@contoso.com -RoleDefinitionName User
