Event ID 4888 – Certificate Services Denied A Certificate Request

Event 4888 is logged when either an administrator or certificate manager denies a pending request, or the CA denies the request based on its policy. The former is usually logged along with event ID 4868.
For this event to be logged, the corresponding "Issue and manage certificate requests" feature needs to be enabled in the CA's properties tab.
This log provides the following information:
- Request ID
- Requester
- Attributes
- Disposition
- SKI
- Subject
