Zendesk settings

    Help desk technicians can manage Active Directory users from within the Zendesk console with this integration.

    Features offered in this integration:

    • Provision users in AD, Office 365, Exchange Server, Skype for Business, Lync, and G Suite parallelly using templates.
    • Reset passwords in AD.
    • Enable or disable AD user accounts.
    • Unlock AD user accounts.
    • Delete AD user accounts.

    Integrate ADManager Plus with Zendesk for:

    • Existing ADManager Plus users.
    • Non-ADManager Plus users.

    Steps for existing ADManager Plus users

    1. Logon to Zendesk.
    2. Download ADManager Plus from Apps Marketplace.
    3. In the Installation page, the user can set role- and group-based restrictions for accessing ADManager Plus. Click Install.
    4. Once it is installed, you can access ADManager Plus from the navigation pane on the left side of the console.
    5. Specify the server URL where ADManager Plus is installed.
    6. Enter the administrator's credentials to complete the integration.

    Note:

    • To establish connection to ADManager Plus, enable SSL port by accessing ADManager Plus ->Admin -> Connection -> Enable SSL Port [https].
    • Ensure that ADManager Plus server is running on build 6631 or above. Click here to update to the latest build.

    Steps for non-ADManager Plus users:

    1. Download and install ADManager Plus.
    2. Download and configure the ADManager Plus app in Zendesk.
    3. Logon to Zendesk.
    4. Download ADManager Plus from Apps Marketplace.
    5. In the Installation page, the user can set role and group restriction for accessing ADManager Plus. Click Install.
    6. Once it is installed, you can access ADManager Plus from the navigation pane on the left side of the console.
    7. Specify the server URL where ADManager Plus is installed.
    8. Enter the administrator's credentials to complete the integration.
