This page explains about the data synchronization that is performed between Central and Probe servers in Enterprise Edition of Applications Manager.
Enterprise Edition provides a centralized dashboard view for monitoring multiple servers and applications hosted in data centers across various geographical locations by monitoring those resources added in various Probe servers and collectively managing them from a single Central server. Since multiple Probe servers are constantly managed and monitored from a single Central server, maintaining proper data synchronization between these servers becomes mandatory to ensure proactive monitoring and data accuracy in a business infrastructure.
Following are the list of modules and their corresponding time intervals with which data sync is performed in Applications Manager:

APM (APM Insight) | This comprises of inventory data fetched from APM Insight agents and shown in the dashboard page of respective applications/instances in APM tab. | Immediately |
Alarms | This comprises of alert details shown in the Alarms tab as well as the RCAs shown in the monitor dashboards. | Every 30 seconds / Immediately (for newly-raised Critical/Warning alerts) |
Reports | This comprises of inventory data shown in the Reports tab as well as the reports shown in the monitor dashboards. | Every 1 hour |
Settings | This data comprises of list of settings configured in the Settings tab. List of configuration settings data synced | Every 1 minute |
Note: You can also view the list of tables that were synced from the Probe servers by selecting the required Probe server under Settings → Support → Enterprise Summary → Table Sync Details.

The Central and Probe server connection should be bi-directional. Unsuccessful connection establishment may lead to installation failure. If the connection is not established post-installation, please refer to the following instructions:
