System requirements for auditing

By default, the audit feature is supported for Exchange Server and Exchange Online environments.

Supported versions of Exchange Server:

• Exchange Server 2003
• Exchange Server 2007
• Exchange Server 2010
• Exchange Server 2013
• Exchange Server 2016
• Exchange Server 2019

Exchange Reporter Plus requires .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack1 for Exchange auditing.

Real-time auditing

Real-time auditing fetches Exchange data immediately as and when Exchange events are written to the event logs. This feature is supported only if Exchange Reporter Plus is installed on the following platforms:

• Windows 7
• Windows 8
• Windows 8.1
• Windows 10
• Windows Server 2003
• Windows Server 2008
• Windows Server 2008 R2
• Windows Server 2012
• Windows Server 2012 R2
• Windows Server 2016
• Windows Server 2019
