Compliance reports

Compliance management can be very strenuous and time-consuming. Make your IT compliance audits a breeze with these predefined report templates for major compliance mandates, including SOX, HIPAA, PCI DSS, the GLBA, and the GDPR. Navigate to the Reports tab → Exchange Server → Compliance to get the list of compliance reports available.

The reports available under this category are classified into five major subcategories:

SOX

• Mailbox Storage Quota Changes: Monitors mailbox storage quota changes performed by users or admins in the organization.
• Message Size Restriction changes: Monitors message size restriction changes performed by users or admins in the organization.
• Mailboxes Activated: Monitors mailboxes being activated.
• Mailboxes Deactivated: Monitors mailboxes being deactivated.
• Hub Transport Settings: Monitors and reports changes in the hub transport settings.
• Send and Receive Connector: Monitors the send and receive connectors and their rules.
• Exchange Databases Mounted: Monitors the Exchange databases that are started or mounted.
• Exchange Databases Dismounted: Monitors the Exchange databases that are stopped or dismounted.
• User Action on Exchange Databases: Monitors all user actions performed on an Exchange database.
• Circular Logging Changes: Lists the changes that are done in regards to circular logging.
• Logon Failure: Shows all the OWA logon failures.

HIPAA

• Undelivered Emails: Shows the undelivered emails for a specified period of time.
• Sent Traffic for Users: Shows the messages sent by a specific user for a particular period of time.
• Received Traffic for Users: Shows the messages received by a specific user for a particular period of time.
• Mails deleted or moved: Shows the list of emails deleted or moved by a user.
• Messages by Subject Keyword: Shows all mailbox messages filtered by subject keywords.
• Messages by Body Keyword: Shows all mailbox messages filtered by body keywords.

PCI

• Mailbox Permission Changes: Monitors all mailbox permission changes.
• Permissions Based on Mailboxes: Shows all the users who have access permissions to a specified mailbox.
• Permissions Based on Users: Lists all the mailbox permissions available to a particular user.
• Messages by Subject Keyword: Shows all mailbox messages filtered by subject keywords.
• Messages by Body Keyword: Shows all mailbox messages filtered by body keywords.
• Attachments by File Name Keyword: Shows all mailbox messages filtered by attachment file name keywords.
• Logon Failure: Shows all the OWA logon failures.
• No. of Mails Sent to Internet: Shows the number of external emails sent.
• No. of Mails Received from Internet: Shows the number of external emails received.

GLBA

• Admin Activity on Mailbox: Monitors admin mailbox logon access by users.
• Delegate Activity on Mailbox: Monitors non-owner mailbox logon access by users.
• Non Owner Activity on Mailbox: Monitors admin and non-owner delegate mailbox logon access.
• Mails deleted or moved: Lists all the emails deleted or moved from mailboxes.
• Mailbox Permission Changes: Monitors the mailbox permission changes.
• Permissions Based on Mailboxes: Lists all users who have mailbox access permissions for specified mailboxes.
• Permissions Based on Users: Shows the mailbox permissions for a specified user.

GDPR

• Attachments by File Name Keyword: Shows all mailbox messages filtered by attachment file name keywords.
• Attachments by File Extension Keyword: Shows all mailbox messages filtered by attachment file extension keywords.
• Mailbox Permission Changes: Monitors the mailbox permission changes.
