IP Node Browser utility of OpUtils software is used to view comprehensive information on any node including the system details, interface details, TCP/IP network details, routes details, protocol statistics, and system information.

To scan an IP to view details

  1. Click the Tools Home tab.

  2. Choose the IP Node Browser available under the Server Monitoring category.

  3. Enter either the IP Address or the Host Name of the device in the text field.

  4. Enter the SNMP Community String.

  5. To configure SNMP properties click Settings located at the top right corner or click Admin -> Settings. For details read the Configuring SNMP section.

  6. Click the Scan button.

  7. Check the Results. The results include the System Details; the Interfaces ( i.e., the number of Network Interface cards including details of the Loopback Card); the TCP/IP Networks details; the Routes (i.e., the routing details of the node); the Protocol Statistics for IP, UDP, ICMP, and TCP; and System Information.

Note: To retrieve data, the system should be SNMP enabled and the SNMP agent should have implemented HOST-RESOURCES-MIB.
