ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus MSP provides Webhooks functionality in Custom
Users can use it for notification purpose and doing integration with third party services
or applications (say create / update / delete operations)
To access the feature,
- Go to Admin >> Custom Triggers >> Add New Action >> Webhooks Action.
- Click Add to configure webhook. Steps as follows :
Click New Webhook >> You can create your Webhook and save it as a template to reuse the same in any custom triggers.
Webhook Name - Provide a name for your reference.
URL : Set the operation which you wish to achieve.
Headers - Provide the API headers. Use + icon to add more.
Parameters - Provide the parameters to be passed here. Use + icon to add more.
Use Body operation for Put and Post
PS : Type $ variable to select and insert variables. (in Parameters / Body)
Save button to save the configuration.
Here is a sample integration with ZOHO desk:
SDP MSP integrates with ZOHO desk to notify users , when an issue which a customer
raised is fixed.

Now using this integration, whenever an issue is fixed in SDP MSP Issue Manager and
the status is marked as Closed and released, the respective field in ZOHO Desk will be
updated and then the notification will be automatically sent to the customer from ZOHO
Desk using Rules.
