What's New :

• Problems module is now supported from SDP 14500.
• You can now manage problems with options to add using templates, edit, view, list, delete, mark as Known Error, and close.
• The following functionalities are now supported:
  • Analysis: Add, edit, and view problem analysis.
  • Solutions: View solutions.
  • Tasks: Add, edit, view, and delete tasks.
  • Worklogs: Add, edit, view, and delete worklogs.
  • Conversations: Track discussions related to problems.
  • History: View complete problem history.

Assets Enhancements - 15100

• Filter Assets: In the list view, you can now filter assets by product type.
• Bulk Edit Assets: Use the tap-and-hold action on asset cards to bulk edit assets.
• Dynamic Asset Form: Asset forms are now displayed dynamically based on the product type during editing.
• Worklog Templates: Technicians can now use templates to add work logs.

Attachments:

You can now select the image quality (Original, High, Medium, or Low) during upload.

• Set your preferred portal as the default landing page.
• From version 14960, download attachments in bulk.
• From version 14100, add custom signatures to your emails.

• The Cancel Request option is now supported for requesters and technicians.
• Technicians can now tag users while adding or editing notes. They can also view details of a tagged user by tapping @username in the latest conversation of the request details screen.

• Task additional fields are supported from build 14500.
• Sort the request list view by Due-by Date.
• The application's stability is enhanced to provide a better user experience.

• This version is compatible with server build 14900 (Request Refer Additional Fields).

Issues Fixed :

• SD-124853: Unable to connect to the server when Web Application Firewall is configured.
• SD-124522: Duplicate requests shown in global search.
• Search by subject issue in approval clarification is fixed.

• Azure Pre-Authentication is supported from build 14850.
• Added filter support for Announcements.
• Consistency is maintained in displaying announcements.
  • Requester login: Only active announcements are shown.
  • Technician login: All announcements (Active, Inactive, Future) are displayed. Click the Show All button to view the announcements list.

• Added support to retrieve the server URL by scanning a QR code directly from the server URL popup in the login screen.
• The application's stability is enhanced to provide a better user experience.

Issues Fixed :

• SD-123022: Issue while scrolling through the description text in the request details screen.
• A blank screen appears when local authentication is disabled. This is now fixed.

• The root detection issue in the Android application is fixed. However, if you receive an alert about root detection, please upgrade to the latest version.
• Password encryption is now highly secure.

• The application UI is now revamped for better user experience.
• The ServiceDesk Plus mobile application version 6.0 onwards is compatible with the web application version 14000 or later.

Home

• Use Global Search to look for requests, solutions, and announcements across portals.
• Create requests from Home.
• View recent announcements from the Announcements widget. Tap View More to see the announcements list.
• My Pending Request Approvals and My Pending Change Approvals widgets in the home page display the approval summary.

Requests

• You can now pick up, assign, close, and delete requests in bulk from the list view.
• Add work log timers from the request details view.
• Added the Resolution field in the request add/edit form.
• Forward requests to users.
• View request approvals from the request details page.
• The requester's profile picture is now displayed in the requests list view.

Approvals

• Use Need Clarification for Approvals to request more information about the approval while taking approval action.
• Added the Approvers tab to the request or change approval details pages.

Worklog

• Include additional fields while creating or editing a work log.

Tasks

• Configure templates for repeated tasks.
• Add or reply to task comments.

Assets

• Scan assets and workstations using RFID devices. Currently, we support Zebra's RFID device.
• Asset scan count is increased to 25.

Chat

• Following chats are now supported in the Android application with ServiceDesk Plus version 14300 onwards:
  • Technician to Technician Chat
  • Technician to Requester Chat
  • Requester to Technician Chat

General Enhancements :

• Customize the request list view by including the request fields of your choice.
• You can now control copy, paste, and screenshot actions through MDM and server settings.
• Add requests, tasks, and assets quickly through app shortcuts.
• Introducing Dark/Light theme support.
• Add Pending Requests to your calendar.
• You can now provide feedback and ratings directly from the application.

iOS Widgets

The iOS application now supports the following widgets:

• Approval summary
• Request Views (All Requests, My Open Requests, Unassigned Requests)
• Approvals (My Pending Request Approvals, My Pending Change Approvals)
